About

I absolutely love photography, support trans rights, and my friends highly suspect I'm a furry. My flat is basically a sanctuary for plushies. There are over 20 Blåhajs taking up space, alongside a Len plush and Touhou fumos.

My music taste swings violently from swing jazz to symphonic black metal (though it's pretty much all Japanese). I listen to a lot of Touhou arrangements, vocaloids, and enjoy MLP. I also absolutely love LapFox Trax and actively enjoy having my ears destroyed by it.

I use NixOS with Hyprland and write code on a custom split keyboard that I built entirely out of two numpads.

Work
Software Engineer
Confidential • 2025 – Present
PHP React Java
Making sure media processing doesn't randomly explode (or implode, whatever the Big Crunch theorists say). Somehow that turned into writing project specs, reviewing PRs, helping new devs.
Low-level Systems & Drivers
Personal • 2025
C C++ Rust
Wrote a cross-platform asynchronous network file system in C with error correction. Wrote my own user-mode drivers, including a C++ graphics tablet driver that bypasses firmware smoothing by reversing the math to get raw pen accuracy, and a custom driver for my weird split keyboard.
Freelance Backend Engineering
Freelance • 2023 – 2024
PHP Node.js
Built DDoS and bot mitigation for a high-traffic media site to keep it from falling over. Also wrote automated data pipelines to sync hundreds of thousands of files so my client wouldn't have to do it manually.
Public AI Chatbot
Personal • 2022
TypeScript
Created a free AI chat service. Wrote a stateful, load-balanced backend to manage memory context for 20,000 users and handle roughly 100k daily messages.
Web Dev
Gogler.pl • 2020
LAMP WordPress
Turned design mockups into actual working websites and built custom WordPress themes.
Origins
Personal • 2014
Java AutoIt JavaScript
Built silly stuff and simple 2D games with controller support from scratch (no game engine). Did a lot of Minecraft tinkering with Java. I was really into cursors.io, at one point M28 (the developer of agar.io) gave me the source code for the game! I did it all just for fun, it's why I still love programming today.
